The BR Hills (Biligiri Rangan Hills) situated in south-eastern Karnataka at its border with Tamil Nadu. Since It is the confluence of Western and Eastern Ghats so, the sanctuary is home to ecosystems that are unique to both the mountain ranges. Most of BR hills are taken up by the BR Hills wildlife sanctuary, which is a protected reserve by the government. It has a wide array of species of animals, birds, and insects.The animals spotted in the forest are panthers, tigers, leopards, gaurs, wild pigs, sloth bears, Langur, antelopes, Chital, Sambar deer, and bears.It has around 200 species of birds. Some of them are the Malabar Whistling Thrush, Racquet Tailed Drongo, Paradise Flycatcher, Yellow-throated Bulbul, and the Crested Hawk Eagle.

- BR Temple, Soliga and the Jenukurba tribal hamlets, the thousand-year-old Mara (Big Champak Tree)
- Jungle safaris and Bird watching – There are two timings, one early morning around 6:30 a.m. and the other one is around 2:30 p.m.We will recommend the morning timings as the cool breeze of the morning will be so much refreshing.
