Kumta stays options-Suragi Homestay Review

Suragi Home Stay

Suragi Home Stay

We visited the Kumta town during one of our annual family trip to the coastal Karnataka region.I was not looking to remain in crowded Gokarna and so searched for offbeat homestay nearby.I searched the web & saw “Suragi” homestay located bang opposite to Kadle Beach.

Suragi is a 2-year-old building, architected to reflect local style from the outside but provide all modern amenities inside for a comfortable stay, nestled in the middle of the green garden. The Kadle Beach is 5 Minutes walk from the homestay.Suragi can offer the pleasant stay for about 15 people. The homestay is ideal stay options for couple, family or significant group.

What we like during our stay at Surgai

Suragi HomeStay Kumta Rooms

Suragi HomeStay Kumta Rooms

We found our rooms to be very spacious and well designed in a very elegant way.The beds are comfortable and located at the corner of the property. This gives good privacy and also cozy feeling. The attached bathroom is good, clean and well maintained. The coastal area of Karnataka gets scorching during noon and in summers. We recommend opting for AC rooms during summer to have a comfortable holiday.

The home cooked only vegetarian food prepared by Raju is surely going to be your the best meals you will remember from Suragi. The meals are served in the common room which has the television and sitting arrangements. The menu can be slightly customized based on guest’s request, but it should come in advance. The guests can enjoy cycling in around the property or experience the unique magic of cycling on the Beach.

Suragi- Our recommendation

Suragi Holiday Home is located 300 m from the Kadle Beach. Free Wi-Fi access is available in the public areas of the holiday home.If you are one of like us who prefer to stay away from the crowd or experience some alternative stay options “Suragi” is for you.Owned and managed by great host Arvind and Meeta, holidaying at Surgai and Kumta will give you the feeling of what it like to be staying in authentic “homestay”.
