Mehandipur Balaji Temple is famous for ritualistic healing and exorcism of evil spirits. Sounds crazy? or you already know about it. If it is real or not, I tried to explain some interesting facts about the temple of Lord Hanuman.

The temple is a Hindu temple, situated in Dausa district of Rajasthan. It is a popular spot for curing the people possessed with evil spirits or ghosts!

Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, this temple attracts thousands of devotees every day especially to get an affected person treated.

In 2013, an international team of scientists, scholars & psychiatrists from Germany, Netherlands, AIIMS, New Delhi and University of Delhi started a study to evaluate all aspects of treatment and rituals at the temple.

  • Do not eat or drink anything inside the temple premises and strictly say ‘No’ to food pushers there.
  • Empty all the food packets, water bottles as you leave the village.
  • Do not talk to strangers or even accidentally try to touch inside the temple.
  • Prashad can be shared with your family.
  • A traveller should not eat meat, onions etc. just before visiting the temple.

  • A person who is suffering from evil spirits & ghosts for a long time gets treated partially or completely by a gamut of required methods inside the temple.
  • Tuesdays and Saturdays are associated with Lord Hanuman that’s why a large number of devotees from all over the country come here for darshan.

A visitor can easily see few evil spirits affected people doing bizarre activities such as slipping downstairs, and hurt their bodies in different ways and so on.

Do you ever think the spirits exist? I have never believed in the presence of evil spirits and ghosts in the past. One of my close relative got possessed and then we went to Mehandipur Balaji for 6 months where I saw the things I have never seen before.

The affected people were shouting badly. They were hurling their heads on the wall. Some were falling intentionally from top of the stairs while a few were holding heavy stones on their body. Some were drinking water from the gutter, tearing their clothes off and abusing God very rudely. A few of them were head standing all day long.

Experiencing all these horrifying scenes seemed like they were punishing themselves for a serious crime; a crime the person did not even know about. Very surprisingly, there were no scratches on their body.

I felt as if I was in some another world where nothing is in the hands of anyone. Whatever was happening is being operated by divine or any supernatural power. Eventually, I realized that there is a lot in the hands of human beings but not everything. The power that directs the world is paramount.

Plan your visit to the fort in such a way that you return and leave the fort before sunset (most important). To know the reason and my experience, I highly recommend to read my story.
